Labin is a small typical
istrian town climbed to the high hilltop and beneath Labin, in one of
the inlets at the seaside, rests Rabac; once a village of modest
fishermen and now comfortable and neat touristic settlement. Today the
name Rabac evokes long and spacious pebbled beach, playgrouds, the
greenery of olives and dense vegetation: pine trees, laurel and holm
oaks. Sunny and sheltered from the winds, Rabac provides, rest both in
summer and winter and the tourist agencies have all rights to call it "the Pearl of Kvarner".
